Jonathan Catherman
Seventy five percent of kids graduating high school say they are not prepared to launch into life away from home. That’s because most kids aren’t growing up learning and practicing the life skills they need to succeed. To address this lack of basic abilities, Jonathan Catherman created five Raising Them Ready frameworks to help develop confidence, capabilities, and kindness in children, tweens, teens, and young adults in each age and ability stage of life.
Jonathan Catherman is a sociologist and an educator who has worked in private and public education for twenty-four years. He speaks worldwide to diverse audiences of all ages and is the author of the bestselling books for teens The Manual to Manhood and The Manual to Middle School. For his success in the development and delivery of youth mentoring resources and programming, Jonathan was awarded the 2016 President’s Volunteer Service Award and Martin Luther King Drum Major for Service Award.
